Donald Trump says "We'll be hitting them very hard" about planned Iran attack
“We'll be hitting them very hard. At some point, they're going to say, 'We just can't take it anymore,'”

President Trump said Saturday that he had agreed to call off a planned attack on Iran, saying Tehran and other Middle Eastern countries had asked him to wait because an agreement had been reached in principle, including opening the Strait of Hormuz and halting Iran’s atomic threat, with Israel backing the arrangement. The announcement came after reports that American and Israeli forces were preparing an especially heavy bombing campaign against Iranian energy targets, possibly within days. At Camp David on Friday, Trump had threatened escalating attacks until Iran gave up. Saudi Arabia’s crown prince reportedly cautioned Trump against another round of strikes because of concerns about the targets. Several U.S. embassies in the Middle East issued security advisories on Saturday, and the State Department urged Americans there to remain cautious.
