Ukrainian officials reported at least four fatalities from Russian air attacks around Kyiv early Saturday, including a child. In a social media post, President Volodymyr Zelensky said a grandmother, grandfather, and their three-year-old grandson were killed by drones in Pukhivka. Three family members and a neighbor who went to help were hospitalized; Zelensky also attributed another death in Kyiv to six ballistic missiles. Ukraine’s air force said it intercepted 135 of 151 drones. In a separate action, Ukraine’s General Staff said its forces struck two Russian oil refineries, igniting fires. Zelensky is in Serbia for his first visit, meeting President Aleksandar Vucic to discuss trade, EU ties, and security. Serbia has resisted sanctioning Moscow despite its invasion but has sent Ukraine aid outside the military sphere.
