President Trump confirmed that he switched aircraft for his return from last month's NATO gathering in Turkey because of a possible security threat. Reporters and staff members boarded Air Force One, but Trump, according to reports, was taken in a modified food cart to a separate plane; the original aircraft flew to a UK military base without him. He told journalists that the military and Secret Service wanted him to make the change, and that the alternate jet may have presented a greater danger because attackers could expect him on it.
