Donald Trump says "THERE CAN BE NO GREATER INSULT" to WWII heroes over memorial vandalism
“THERE CAN BE NO GREATER INSULT TO THOSE AMERICAN HEROES WHO DIED IN WORLD WAR II. First the Reflecting Pool, now this. We are on their trail! Where do these animals come from???”

President Donald Trump said Friday on Truth Social that the National World War II Memorial in Washington had been defaced with red and green paint and soap foam. He called the act a grave offense to those who died in the war, tied it to earlier damage at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, and indicated authorities were pursuing those responsible. U.S. Attorney Jeannine Pirro said one person suspected in the vandalism was in custody. A group that supports the memorial voiced alarm, and the Interior Department condemned the episode. The defacement, including a money-related slogan and suds-filled fountains, has drawn attention to the treatment of national monuments.
