Donald Trump says "it has gone to HELL!" in New York under Hochul and James

President Trump has endorsed Republican Saritha Komatireddy in New York’s attorney general race, entering his years-long conflict with Democratic incumbent Letitia James. In a Friday Truth Social post, Trump offered complete backing to Komatireddy, a former DEA chief of staff, federal prosecutor, and 2020 judicial nominee, and used the announcement to attack James and Gov. Kathy Hochul, saying the state had deteriorated badly under them. Trump has pressed for James to face prosecution over mortgage fraud accusations and has feuded with her since she successfully sued him in 2022 over inflated asset valuations; an appeals court later voided the $465 million penalty. Komatireddy thanked Trump and vowed to beat James in November. James’s campaign did not comment.
