President Trump has endorsed Republican Saritha Komatireddy to unseat New York Attorney General Letitia James. In a Friday Truth Social post, he praised Komatireddy, a former federal prosecutor and DEA chief of staff, while attacking James as corrupt and blaming her for crime and residents and businesses leaving the state. The endorsement extends a long-running feud after James successfully sued Trump over inflated property valuations; a $465 million penalty was later overturned on appeal. Trump has also called for James to be prosecuted over mortgage fraud allegations. Komatireddy thanked Trump; James’s campaign did not comment.
