Putin says partnership with North Korea is at "unprecedentedly high level"

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un expressed pride in his nation's relationship with Russia, which has deepened significantly since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine. Analysts suggest North Korea has provided military aid to Russia in exchange for economic and technological benefits. This cooperation has led to accusations from Ukraine that Russia has used North Korean missiles in attacks. In a recent exchange of letters, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the bilateral relationship as having reached an "unprecedentedly high level of comprehensive strategic partnership," noting active cooperation in various sectors to ensure regional security.
