“Dubna space communications centre in the Moscow region”
On June 30, Russian officials said their air‑defence forces neutralised 419 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft across the nation, with several hitting the vicinity of Moscow and resulting in civilian casualties, including the death of an infant while being taken to a hospital. The Moscow‑region governor reported that a drone strike damaged a dwelling in a village southwest of the capital. Ukraine’s president announced that Ukrainian forces had again struck a satellite‑communications installation near Dubna in the Moscow region, describing it as a site that aids Russian reconnaissance and the coordination of its forces in Ukraine. He presented the attack as part of a wider long‑range campaign that has also targeted a refinery and other locations farther east.
