Marc Benioff says AI revenue "about to cross $4 billion"

In its latest earnings report, Salesforce credited its artificial-intelligence offerings for strengthening results, and CEO Marc Benioff said the company’s AI-related recurring revenue was approaching $4 billion annually. The statement accompanied fiscal results in which revenue rose 10.8% to $11.35 billion and adjusted earnings far exceeded forecasts, partly because of gains from strategic investments. Salesforce also said its Agentforce AI product had reached an annual recurring revenue of $1.5 billion, up more than 240%, while current remaining performance obligations grew 14% to $33.5 billion. The numbers contrast with Apple’s quarterly report of $109.42 billion in revenue, reflecting two divergent approaches to AI: selling it as a device feature versus selling direct AI services.
