Donald Trump says entertainment tax-break plan will bring film/TV production "BACK TO AMERICA"

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that both parties in Congress support a proposed federal tax-break plan for the entertainment industry, which he says will bring film and TV production back to the U.S. In a Truth Social post, he described strong bipartisan backing for the measure and predicted it would restore domestic production. The announcement follows Trump’s account of meeting actor and special U.S. ambassador to Hollywood Jon Voight, in which they discussed how production has moved abroad, particularly to Canada, leaving California and other Democratic-leaning states economically harmed. Trump said he is urging Republican and Democratic lawmakers to quickly produce legislation creating production incentives and jobs. Politico reported House members could introduce a bipartisan bill this month.
