Donald Trump says actors will help bring Hollywood back "BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER"
“They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK — BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!”

President Donald Trump previously named actors Jon Voight, Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone as his personal representatives to help revive Hollywood, saying on Truth Social that he wanted to reverse production losses to other countries and forecasting a new period of prosperity for the industry. Gibson, meanwhile, said at Fan Expo Toronto that he is editing and completing post-production there on The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One, a two-film sequel to The Passion of the Christ due May 6, 2027. He said the project was shot abroad, included sets built to evoke Jerusalem and Damascus, and took 135 days to film. The sequel’s overseas production is a practice the envoys were intended to counter.
