Donald Trump says "That Era is OVER!" about Canada blocking Gulfstream Aerospace

Canada began collecting retaliatory tariffs Tuesday on billions of dollars of U.S. products, with levies as high as 50 percent on steel, paper, appliances, toilet paper, wood flooring, and some dairy items, after President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on Canadian imports. Ottawa said the action was meant to shield Canadian workers. Prime Minister Mark Carney has urged companies to expand domestic output, and officials recently shifted a large rail-car manufacturing contract from a U.S. facility to Canada. Trump responded by directing that Lake Ontario be renamed, saying Bombardier must build planes in the U.S., and posting on Truth Social that Canada unfairly blocks Gulfstream Aerospace and American banks while benefiting from U.S. consumers. He added that Canada must produce goods in the U.S. if it expects market access. The dispute has also cut Canadian trips to the U.S.
