Donald Trump, speaking at a convention in Dallas, urged Republican supporters to act as if he were on the ballot in the upcoming midterm elections. This call comes as Trump has proposed a $5,000 payment to every adult citizen if Republicans retain control of Congress. The article suggests this proposal lacks a funding plan and is presented as a response to economic hardship and a war with Iran, which the author claims Trump initiated. The convention itself, reportedly titled "Trump-a-palooza," aimed to showcase Trump's influence within the Republican Party.
