Trump says Maria Bartiromo is "a total professional, and a true warrior" after Fox departure

Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo was removed from the network's airwaves, with Fox News Media saying she had left the company immediately and that it was a business decision; other anchors took over her three programs, and two were retitled. Bartiromo later thanked supporters and said she would return soon. People familiar told Just the News she was removed from television but not terminated, remaining paid under a contract running through 2029, while her attorney, Bryan Freedman, disputed accounts that she was fired. Trump commented on Truth Social about her departure, offering support. Separately, trade adviser Peter Navarro alleged her removal followed her sharing internal Fox guidance about coverage of Trump's July 16 speech, which he said he relayed to the White House.
