Donald Trump says Karl Rove is a "stone cold loser" in Truth Social post

President Donald Trump used a Monday Truth Social post to criticize Karl Rove, a former White House adviser under George W. Bush, arguing that Rove harms the Republican Party and is often incorrect. Trump also said Rove stays relevant only because Fox News features him, and he asked why Fox News and The Wall Street Journal keep providing him a platform, closing with a belittling comment about Rove. The post followed Rove’s statement, reported by the Texas Tribune, that he would vote Democratic to oppose Republican Bo French, whose opponent is Democrat Jon Rosenthal, in the Texas Railroad Commission contest. French’s comments about South Asian students at the University of Texas at Austin had drawn criticism; he defended them and described his detractors as insufficiently conservative. The episode centers on an intraparty dispute over French’s candidacy.
