Andy Burnham says UK is "secure the interests of Britain" with aid to Saudi Arabia

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, while traveling to New York for the U.N. General Assembly, announced that the U.K. would give Saudi Arabia limited military help by deploying a British military refueling aircraft to support Saudi planes on defensive missions against Houthi missile launches from Yemen. Burnham discussed the move during the trip. The announcement came as he prepared for his first in-person meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, following a pair of telephone conversations after he became leader in July. The agenda for their discussions was expected to include cease-fire efforts for the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Middle East, defense spending, trade and artificial intelligence.
