Donald Trump tells CNN's Kaitlan Collins at U.N.: "You should not be here covering me"

On Sept. 22, 2026, Jimmy Kimmel responded on his ABC late-night show to a clip from the U.N. General Assembly in New York, where CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked President Donald Trump about public opinion on the war with Iran. Collins said the U.N. had permitted the network, and Trump objected to her being there as a reporter. Kimmel turned the exchange into a joke. The segment was part of Kimmel’s continued response to Trump’s barring of CNN from the White House, the report said.
