Donald Tusk says Russia aims to "paralyze or at least weaken the motivation of NATO countries"
“paralyze or at least weaken the motivation of NATO countries”

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said last week that Moscow is preparing attacks involving drones or rockets on European backers of Ukraine, with Poland among the targets. According to Tusk, Russia could present such actions as unintended, with the goal of discouraging NATO members from quickly defending an ally under assault. His warning came as NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said the alliance can manage sabotage and drone incidents and urged calm, and Denmark’s defense intelligence service assessed Thursday that Russia is likely to expand its unconventional campaign and has grown more willing to accept risk. The Danish agency described a limited but rising chance of a constrained military attack on neighboring NATO states in coming months, intended to pull European resources from Ukraine and create divisions, while saying a full invasion is not indicated.
