The president replied that their rapport is strong and reminded the Israeli leader of his subordinate role. Both officials said they intend to schedule a face‑to‑face meeting in Washington, possibly within a week after the NATO summit in Turkey on July 7‑8. Their last encounter in February 2026 preceded a coordinated strike against Iran, during which they discussed contingency plans should diplomatic talks with Tehran break down, including targeting Iran's missile arsenal.
