President Donald Trump's exchange with CNN's Kaitlan Collins outside the United Nations General Assembly occurred during his continuing conflict with news organizations over White House access. In that encounter, Trump challenged CNN's presence; Collins replied that the United Nations had allowed the network in. The dispute began when Trump announced bans on CNN, MSNOW and Politico on Sept. 18.
