Marco Rubio says incident "clearly involves the hand of a foreign actor"

Following the arrest of five British nationals near RAF Fairford on suspicion of explosives offenses, a counter-terrorism investigation is ongoing, though police stated the material found was not viable explosives. The suspects were released on bail with strict conditions. Prime Minister Andy Burnham convened a government meeting to assess the situation. Speculation has arisen regarding potential foreign involvement, with one official suggesting proxies might be involved. Iran's embassy has denied any connection to the incident. U.S. Senator Marco Rubio commented on the situation, suggesting foreign involvement and calling it serious.
