Donald Trump says Iran nuclear risk was addressed faster than projected: "I did it in one night!"

President Donald Trump said Thursday the United States would respond forcefully if Iran is connected to an incident involving a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, according to remarks to reporters. The aircraft was diverted and landed in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after Flydubai described a dispute in the cockpit; the airline said staff stepped in to bring the plane under control and later paused flights to and from Israel during an investigation. In a Truth Social post that day, Trump also claimed a nuclear risk from Iran had been addressed much faster than he had publicly projected and that the remaining work was maintaining that outcome. The comments came as the flight episode was under investigation.
