Benjamin Netanyahu says of plumber who intervened: "He can help you too — I highly recommend him!"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly praised Yaniv Hayoun, a plumber among passengers who intervened during what was reported as an attack by a FlyDubai flight’s copilot. After the Dubai-to-Tel Aviv plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia and travelers reached Tel Aviv late Wednesday, Netanyahu met Hayoun, left a top rating for his plumbing business, and endorsed him on X. The captain, though wounded, opened the cockpit door, enabling passengers to restrain the copilot; a dentist treated the captain. Investigators from the region are still examining what led to the attack, and the copilot has not been named. All 182 people aboard survived.
