Donald Trump says he and Kim Jong Un "get along great" after North Korea missile launch
“I get along great with Kim Jong Un. Isn't it nice to get along with the leaders of massive nuclear nations?”

North Korea launched an intermediate-range ballistic missile on Oct. 3, which Kim Jong Un personally oversaw according to state media, and an analyst said the weapon could put Guam, parts of Alaska and Japan within reach. Hours later, at an Ohio rally, President Donald Trump highlighted his bond with Kim and cited North Korea’s nuclear arsenal as a rationale for preserving dialogue, as he tries to revive diplomacy with Pyongyang. The analyst cautioned that the test likely was not chiefly a response to Trump’s recent statements, noting North Korea has rejected U.S. overtures and halted dialogue with South Korea, while its growing partnership with Russia lowers its incentive to engage Washington. South Korea and Japan said the launch violated U.N. Security Council resolutions and threatened regional and global security.
