Donald Trump asks why Fox News puts Democrats on air "saying bad things about the Republican Party"
“Why does Fox News always put Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Jessica Tarlov, and every Democrat on, saying bad things about the Republican Party and, of course, me?”

On Oct. 5, 2026, former president Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that Fox News failed to air his Ohio rally live, showing only short clips while other networks reported on it. He said the event was packed and that similar rallies occurred in Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma. Trump also charged the network with giving excessive airtime to Democrats, naming Senate leader Chuck Schumer, House leader Hakeem Jeffries and commentator Jessica Tarlov, whom he called “stupid.” He warned that such programming could harm the channel’s business and asked who decided the coverage. The report adds that Schumer and Jeffries are not regular Fox guests, Tarlov is a contributor and co‑host of “The Five,” and several former Fox personalities now hold positions in Trump’s administration.
