Donald Trump says of mail-in voting evidence: "No evidence? With millions and millions of ballots?"
“No evidence? With millions and millions of ballots?”

President Donald Trump on Monday defended his encouragement of mail-in voting after a Truth Social video in which he told supporters to cast ballots early, by mail, or in person on Nov. 3, despite his past criticism of the practice and court-blocked efforts to restrict it. Asked outside the White House by CBS News' Nancy Cordes why he would promote a method he calls fraudulent, Trump said voters could choose either option and repeated that cheating in mail voting is widespread. When Cordes requested evidence and said California showed none, Trump disputed her and called her "fake news." The exchange came before a Nebraska rally, with midterm elections weeks away; a poll cited by CNN's Kristen Holmes showed declining Latino support for him, which he dismissed.
