Britain's prime minister, Andy Burnham, told journalists in Berlin on 9 October 2026 that the Green Party had shown poor judgment in adopting a motion describing Zionism as a form of racism. He said the motion was wrong and rejected it, and argued that every UK party should work toward a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine. His comments, made during a trip to the German capital, add his voice to the dispute over the Green Party's resolution.
