Donald Tusk says young people could "get stupid and unsafe thoughts" after Poland school attacks
“get stupid and unsafe thoughts”

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a Sunday crisis meeting that three school attacks in central Poland within four days appeared to be individual, spur-of-the-moment acts encouraged by violent material circulating online, rather than the work of a large organized group. The attacks in Mazovian province killed one person and injured many, including children. Police detained 117 people across the country for carrying knives or other weapons or for threatening schools or students, and checked roughly 64,000 schools. Tusk said those checks would extend into next week because officials fear young people who followed news of the attacks might try to copy them. He added that some detainees had links to far-right circles and that online searches for extremist and killer-related content had risen.
