Andy Burnham says he will "put out there everything that I have done" on Manchester City contacts

After Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch asked Prime Minister Andy Burnham to disclose all his dealings with Manchester City, the former Greater Manchester mayor said he would release details of his contacts with the club. Speaking on the Rest Is Politics podcast, he said he had only one notable meeting, in 2021, and none recently, and argued that questions about his interactions should be kept apart from the club's financial-rule case. An independent panel found City breached rules over 2009-2018; the club denies wrongdoing and has appealed, and the case has led to calls for it to lose titles. Burnham had also said he would be worried if its Abu Dhabi owners left, remarks his office later clarified. City beat Liverpool 3-0 on Sunday and stayed top of the Premier League.
