Donald Trump says "our people are looking at it very strongly" on probe into Rep. Ilhan Omar's home

Federal agents searched Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington home Monday, executing a court-authorized warrant in an ongoing criminal investigation, the Justice Department said. Officials didn't describe the inquiry's focus; Fox News, citing unnamed sources, said agents were reviewing immigration paperwork her father completed when she was a child. Two days earlier, President Donald Trump attacked Omar by name at a rally and indicated the matter was getting serious attention from him and Vice President JD Vance — following months of fraud accusations against Omar by Trump and allies, which she denies. The search came roughly three weeks before midterm elections, which the report said would spark fresh claims that Trump was using law enforcement for political ends.
