Donald Trump says of accepting Qatar jet gift: "you take ’em, right?"

President Donald Trump defended his acceptance of a luxury jumbo jet from Qatar's royal family while campaigning Wednesday in Bullhead City, Arizona, an economically struggling rural county where the repainted aircraft served as a backdrop for his rally. Trump recounted asking the Qatari leader to borrow a 747 and being offered it outright instead, and he dismissed the objections raised when he took the plane last year, criticism that included members of his own party. The stop was part of a Western midterm swing that also took him to Montana's 1st District, where he backed House candidate Aaron Flint and warned that gun rights were at stake, ahead of Nov. 3 elections deciding control of Congress.
