Trump says he'll have "Kansas Style Rally, in Roger's Honor" for Marshall's reelection

President Donald Trump is scheduled to campaign Monday at Heartland Credit Union Arena in Park City, Kan., just outside Wichita, for Republican Sen. Roger Marshall’s reelection. Trump announced the visit in a social media post that also prompted some online users to ask what he meant by his description of the event. The stop has drawn both enthusiasm and planned protests among Kansans, according to the report. Democrats reportedly see the visit as a sign Republicans are worried about Marshall’s race against Rev. Adam Hamilton, who would become Kansas’s first Democratic senator since the 1930s if elected. Republicans reportedly believe Trump’s appearance will motivate his supporters to vote. The matchup has attracted national attention, and social media discussion around the rally has often focused on Trump as much as Marshall.
