Kallas says Ukraine's resistance continues "because Europe has been supporting Ukraine"

On Tuesday, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas raised doubts about the neutrality of U.S. mediators working toward an end to Russia’s war in Ukraine, according to the report. She attributed Ukraine’s continued resistance to European assistance and suggested Washington’s diplomacy had not treated both sides evenly; Ukrainian officials have said the Trump administration urged Kyiv to cede land for peace. The comments came as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sought more air-defense aid in Norway and as Russia attacked Ukrainian civilian areas, killing at least nine people, officials said.
