At a Friday night rally in Florida, President Donald Trump claimed that entertainment figures who had criticized him for years were now approaching him for assistance as film and television production increasingly moves abroad. He attributed the shift to incentives offered by Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, and said he might support tax breaks to keep production in the U.S. The rally was part of his monthlong effort to boost Republican candidates before tight midterm elections; he also promoted Florida Republicans Byron Donalds and Ashley Moody and announced added FEMA hurricane aid for the Panhandle. Trump also criticized actor Robert De Niro.
