With two days left before the midterms, Donald Trump used a social media post to endorse Republicans in Iowa and Kansas while traveling to campaign appearances in both states, according to IANS. His endorsements included Ashley Hinson and Roger Marshall in Senate contests and Zach Lahn and Ty Masterson in gubernatorial races. The trip formed part of his effort to help Republicans retain Senate control, and he told reporters that winning the chamber was necessary. He was scheduled to finish in Kansas. The endorsements put the president’s support behind specific statewide candidates immediately before voters went to the polls.
