Donald Trump says "FAKE ALASKA CANDIDATE" is missing in action in Alaska Senate race
“FAKE ALASKA CANDIDATE DANIAL J. SULLIVAN, JR., IS MISSING IN ACTION!”
Reported November 3, 2026 by independent.co.uk. Checked word for word against that report.
Early on Election Day, Donald Trump’s Truth Social account posted about Alaska’s Senate race, which includes Republican incumbent Dan Sullivan, Democrat Mary Peltola and another contender identified as Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. In the message, Trump claimed that Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. was not a real candidate, said he could not be found, and floated the possibility that lawyers connected to Democrats had taken him. The post appeared shortly after 1 a.m. as part of a series of political messages from Trump’s account; he also criticized Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and later sent dozens of Republican endorsements. The Alaska post put an unverified assertion about a Senate candidate on the president’s account during Election Day.
