Volodymyr Zelensky asks allies: "If Russia starts (attacking) again, what will happen?"
“The question isn’t dozens of points, but simply an understanding of the outcome: If Russia starts (attacking) again, what will happen? Who will do what, with what means, and when?”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is pressing Western allies for explicit postwar security commitments, saying broad assurances are not enough and that Kyiv needs to know in advance how partners would respond if Russia renewed attacks. His remarks in a Ukrainian television interview followed two days of Brussels talks involving U.S., U.K., French, German and EU officials on postwar security, reconstruction and 2027 funding, and preceded planned Ukraine-Russia-U.S. talks in Abu Dhabi. The discussions continue amid heavy fighting: Russian drone strikes caused outages across several regions, and the death toll from a Russian guided-bomb attack on a former school used for aid distribution in Komyshuvakha rose to 53, according to a regional official. Zelenskyy also said Democratic midterm gains might improve prospects for U.S. aid, including Patriot interceptors.
