Donald Trump: "But have no fear, we will be back, BIGGER AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!"

In last Tuesday’s midterm elections, Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress, handing the Republican Party historic losses in states it had long dominated. President Donald Trump responded in a Sunday post on Truth Social, describing the result as a major setback for the country and saying the stock market, which had risen during his presidency, fell after the vote. He also voiced confidence that his political movement would rebound. On Friday, Trump named adviser Stephen Miller as chief of staff. Democrats have said they will hold the administration accountable and oppose Miller, a central figure in Trump’s immigration policy.
