“Giving power to the Radical Left Dumocrats in the House to control what goes up for a Vote will make our outcomes worse, not better. No more grandstanding, please! They are the Dumocrats, and we can’t let them WIN!”
President Donald Trump reversed his decision to block a widely supported bipartisan housing bill after a lengthy meeting with House Speaker Mike Johnson, according to a Fox News report. The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which addresses rising housing costs ahead of the midterms, had passed Congress with veto-proof support. Trump’s change of heart came as Representative Anna Paulina Luna and allied Republicans were disrupting House proceedings, threatening to vote down measures unless the Senate advances Trump’s election-overhaul SAVE America Act. On Truth Social, Trump urged Luna and other holdouts to abandon their blockade, warning that giving Democratic legislators control over what reaches a floor vote would worsen Republican outcomes and urging an end to “grandstanding.” Johnson said the housing bill would be transmitted to the White House and that Trump is expected to sign it early next week.
