“I'm on every single one of their list.”
At the NATO summit in Ankara, President Donald Trump alleged that Iran is seeking to kill him, claiming he appears on all of Tehran’s target lists. He spoke after the U.S. military launched a new wave of airstrikes against Iranian air-defense systems, radar installations, and IRGC boats, which CENTCOM described as retaliation for Iranian attacks on commercial shipping near the Strait of Hormuz. Iran responded by firing drones and missiles at U.S.-linked military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait, with both countries reporting interceptions and some damage. Trump also stated that the U.S. memorandum of understanding with Iran is now terminated. The confrontation follows a similar pattern of strikes and counterstrikes from late last month.
