Smith, who has previously expressed interest in debating politicians, claimed he could draw a television audience rivaling the Super Bowl and said he has known Trump before his presidency. While Smith does not intend to run for office, he suggested he would appear on a debate stage with any politician he believes has divided the country. Trump is constitutionally barred from a third term, so such a debate would be a special event. The last Trump-Harris debate drew about 67 million viewers, far below Smith’s 100-million prediction.
