Warren Buffett has announced that he will distribute the remainder of his Berkshire Hathaway shares to four charitable foundations by the end of 2034, according to reports. The move follows his decision this year to halt donations to the Gates Foundation—which had received tens of billions from him over the years—after questions arose about Bill Gates’ past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Buffett, who resigned from the foundation’s board in 2021, is reportedly waiting for the outcome of an outside legal review examining the foundation’s ties to Epstein. He has also said he is no longer communicating with Gates.
