Trump himself held a rally there on Wednesday, after which he posted on Truth Social that the event’s flyovers and music were excellent and that the audience remained through his entire speech because they enjoyed hearing about a successful America; he added he would speak again on July 4th. The White House–backed celebration, intended to mark the nation’s 250th birthday, reportedly left even some of Trump’s own supporters disappointed by its lackluster offerings.
