Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on a Ukrainian strike on a facility in the Russian city of Kirov, described that site as a key military asset supplying parts for aircraft and missile equipment used in attacks on Ukraine. This remark came amid a wider escalation: Russian missile and glide-bomb attacks killed at least 15 people in Ukraine, including 10 at a drone-technology exhibition near Kyiv, where around 100 were also injured. Zelensky warned that intelligence indicated another major Russian missile strike could occur within 48 hours. Ukraine’s overnight strike on the Kirov facility, along with attacks on Wildberries warehouses in northwest Russia, are part of Kyiv’s strategy to disrupt military logistics, according to reports. The ongoing violence occurs as Zelensky prepares to meet President Donald Trump in the U.S. next week.
